i want your leather studded kiss in the snow

28/02/2010

[en]Hello guys, how is it going? We spent two days in a beautiful hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona. When we waked up the first morning we discovered a beautiful view from our window: a small forest covered in snow with many squirrels coming toward us to get something to eat. It was so beautiful and we decided to take some photos.

It wasn’t so cold so I decided to try and create a bit of contrast, both in colours and in style. I went with leather and studs and I went “back to black”, which is still my favourite colour to dress in. I also wore my new Jeffrey Campbell shoes, which I absolutely adore!

We’re now, sadly, at the end of our great holiday and tomorrow we have to face a very long flight to Milan. I really hope to be able to come back here soon. I’m now gonna enjoy my last day here in LA.[/en]
[it]Ciao ragazzi, come va?

Ora vado a godermi il mio ultimo giorno a Los Angeles.[/it]

this gaudy neon city called Las Vegas

26/02/2010
201002_this-gaudy-neon-city-called-las-vegas_1.jpg

[en]Well guys, we changed our mind and we’re still in Flagstaff, not yet in LA. We completely fell in love with this hotel and then we decided to extend our stay one more night.
Today we visited the Grand Canyon, it was amazing, i’ve never seen something similar before! You’ll see some pictures in the next posts!

We took these shots in Las Vegas, one of the weirdest city I’ve ever seen. It’s the “Sin city” par excellence: it could be amusing for a while, but it’s too garish in my opinion.
Everything in Las Vegas is fake, from the celebrities at Madame Tussaud’s to the replicas of the Eiffel Tower and of the Liberty Statue. A question comes to mind: how could something like this be built in the middle of a desert?

Here I’m wearing my new studded jacket bought at Forever XXI, this shop is getting me crazy, I like everything they sell!
You can see on my fingers one of my favourite purchases of this holiday: the multi finger ring with three little skulls on it! I bought it in San Francisco and it was love at first sight!

In the matter of love, today is MY BOYFRIEND’S BIRTHDAY! Please everyone wish him happy birthday! This picture together is dedicated to him, the love of my life. I love you, sweetie.[/en]

Ti amo.[/it]

death valley queen

24/02/2010

[en]Hello guys, here I am again with some new pictures of my travel, everyday is getting better and I wish I could stay here forever! These pictures were taken during our trip from SF to LV, while we were crossing in the Death Valley.

It’s amazing to stumble on such an unlimited space, it never happened to me before. Usually we can’t enlarge our view to similar distances, whereas in the Death Valley it is possible and the horizon view seems to never end. This gave me an incredible freedom sensation.

As you can see from my clothes, it was very warm and now I miss that weather, cause I am near Bryce Canyon at high altitude (>6000 feet) and I am surronded by snow, nothing but snow!
Fortunately at San Francisco my amazing boyfriend gave me these boots by Minnetonka, I’ve never seen them in Italy: they have the Ugg’s shape with the classic Minnetonka’s fringes. Aren’t they cute? They’ll help me keeping warm from snow!

Tomorrow we’ll go visit other natural parks, I’ll keep you posted as always! Have a great day you all![/en]

Buona giornata a tutti![/it]

lace and sheets

22/02/2010
201002_lace-and-sheets_1.jpg

[en]Hello guys, after witnessing the amazing feedback on “I eat fashion for breakfast”, my boyfriend and I had another try at indoor shooting, and we chose the king size bed of our hotel in San Francisco. I hope we did well again!

My boyfriend set up everything in our room as a studio, even with umbrellas and wireless flash. The place seemed to be made ad-hoc for us: the lights were a bit blue and created a perfect contrast with the white blankets.

I decided that the most appropriate outfit for this photoshoot would have been this lace bodysuit bought at Urban Outfitters a few days ago and these cream ankle boots covered with lace bought at Forever XXI just to add a romantic touch to the whole scene.

Let me know your opinions about our new try, I’ll await suggestions and advices from all of you. Have a great day![/en]

Buona giornata![/it]

won't you save me, San Francisco?

21/02/2010
201002_wont-you-save-me-san-francisco_1.jpg

[en]Hello guys, here we are again with the pictures of the second day spent in the amazing San Francisco. Sadly we’ve already left it, but i’ll hardly forget this city and i don’t hide you that it could be my choice for a master after my degree.

Yesterday, as I have already told you, we’ve visited the MoMA museum and the Golden Gate. There is a huge park all around the Golden Gate and we’ve spent some time in the part called Crissy Fields.
Coming from a place as Milan, it’s so strange and unexpected to find such beautiful places so close to the city.

After these pictures I am sure you grasped my passion for animals, in fact yesterday too I couldn’t resist from petting this sweet golden who was anxiously waiting for his owners.
How cute is he giving me his paw and putting it on my leg?

In these pictures I’m wearing an easy look: mini dress by Coca Cola bought in SF, red coat with a big bow on the back bought in LA and one of the three multi-fingers rings that I bought in SF and that it’s impossible to find in Milan.

We’ll see again with a new post full of photos taken in the hotel in SF, meanwhile I wish you a wonderful day![/en]

you rocked my world, you know you did

19/02/2010
201002_you-rocked-my-world-you-know-you-did_1.jpg

[en]Welcome back guys, I just woke up, it’s 9am and I’m writing you from my king-size bed, while there in Italy it’s 5pm already (9 hours of difference are too much!). Yesterday we spent our first day in San Francisco and I’m already in love with this wonderful city that it’s really one of a kind!

We walked a lot looking for one of the streets you suggested us on the last post, and it’s been very tiring because SF is all up and downs (some ones really steep!). In the end we reached it and I found some of the things I have on my shopping list. Thank you again!

In this post I’m wearing my new American Apparel tights; you either like them or hate them, I don’t think there is any middle way. Yesterday while walking in SF everyone was staring with an amused/interested face, probably because they’re not used to see something like this!

Today we will put shopping aside and we’ll visit the MoMA, the Golden Gate park and the rest of SF, I can’t wait![/en]

california, how much i heart you…

18/02/2010
201002_california-how-much-i-heart-you_1.jpg

[en]Hello my beloved followers, i’m writing from my wonderful hotel room in San Francisco. I wish i could stay here forever… We arrived in LA three days ago and stayed there for one day but i didn’t have much time to take some shots which will have to wait until i go back there before leaving.

These photos were taken on our way from LA to San Francisco. The first ones near Malibù and the other ones in Carmel-by-the-sea. Carmel has a beautiful beach but when we arrived there was sooo much fog, we barely could find it! Yesterday night we stopped at Monterey and had dinner in a beautiful restaurant near Fishermen’s Wharf which had a beautiful selection of sea food.

I bought the trench and the shirt you see here in LA together with many other items you’ll see in the next few posts. However shopping here was a bit disappointing cause i was hoping to find more peculiar things. We’ll see if i can find better in the next days. If you know any shop to suggest me in LA o SF, please do! :)

Next time you’ll hear from I hope to have some beautiful pictures of San Francisco. By the way, today it’s one year with my love and i just want to say him “I love you, thank you for this amazing year together!”.
Hugs and kisses![/en]

[en]Hi folks! This will be my last post before leaving. Tomorrow morning at 7:10 I’ll get on the airplane from Malpensa and I’ll be in LA at 20:00 (local time). I won’t be leaving you alone though, I’ll post some photos from there whenever I have a chance!

My boyfriend took these shots yesterday evening just a moment before sunset, while waiting to see Chiara and Richie to say them goodbye. Now I have to get my things ready, I hope not to forget something important as I always do.
See you in the next days![/en]

the world was a mess but our hair was perfect

[en]Hi guys! I had so much to do these days I didn’t find the time to write here. I was quite busy with my exams, the last one being two days ago, but they all went well! In fact, better than I’ve ever expected ;) Now I’m relaxing a bit, preparing everything to leave for california on monday.. I just can’t wait to be there!

As you can see in these shots, i have put in hair extensions again. I like myself so much more with long hairs, and I hope you like the change of look too!!

I took these pictures yesterday with my friend Mattia. He just created a blog for himself, moremoreandmohr.blogspot.com. If you don’t mind you could pay him a visit! I finally also got my new boots from UK, i’ve been waiting them too long, but they are awesome!

This last photo is my favourite: it’s very cinematographic and I like how the smoke coming out of his mouth appears in black and white! Have a nice day everyone, you’ll hear from me very soon![/en]

need a break from studying?

07/02/2010
201002_need-a-break-from-studying_1.jpg

[en]Hello guys, I’m sorry I had not posted anything in a few days, but I’m very busy. I’ve got an exam at the beginning of the next week, yesterday night I even had to stay at home studying while my friends were out for dinner. That’s soo sad :(

Thankfully Elisabetta, a dear friend of mine, had the time to keep me company, because she too had to study. In this period I find it impossible for me to concentrate: I have a lot of things I want to do, a lot of friends I want to see… and there is also the idea of my upcoming travel that sidetracks me. I don’t know how I can pass this exam!

On a side note, someone has to block access to ebay from my pc, or I’ll buy the whole world while i’m messing around at home! ;) I’m waiting for a topshop pair of over-the-knee boots that I bought on ebay uk some days ago. I really can’t wait for them to arrive!

These pictures were taken by my boyfriend yesterday morning while I was taking a break from studying. The outfit is kinda simple, not really refined. I was wearing the chanel necklace my best friend Chiara gave me before leaving for Chicago several months ago, I really love it! And I really love her, of course!

You’ll hear from me soon when this exam is over!In the meanwhile, add me on twitter if you haven’t done it yet! Have a nice day :)[/en]

i'm so glad to be yours

03/02/2010
201002_im-so-glad-to-be-yours_1.jpg

[en]Hi guys, I hope everything’s going well! As you may have noticed the title of this post is dedicated to my boyfriend.
I’ll never get tired of repeating how good and patient he is. He’s helping me taking these photos, though his work leaves him so little spare time.

Yesterday we went to the “Vintage Workshop”, near Fiera Milanocity. There wasn’t anything really interesting, apart from some belts which were sadly only available for rent. One in particular fascinated me and got my attention while browsing the shelfs: it had a big watch in place of the buckle, very similar to one I saw some days ago on a fashion blog and with which i instantly fell in love!!

After the exibition we went in a little park near there to take these photos. There was a striking sun with so much light it got reflected back by the floor-to-ceiling windows of a nearby building. I wore this very horsewoman-ish look. I have always been in love with white trousers to wear during the winter and when I saw these in the new Zara’s collection i simply couldn’t resist!
I hope you like the total-brown look, it’s a colour I wear scarcely ever but I think it matches very well with white. What do you think? Do you wear it sometimes?[/en]
