Marc Cain fashion show- Berlin

Ciao ragazze!
Aspetto i vostri commenti :)

————————————————————————————————————–

Hi girls! As I told you in the previous post, I just got back from Berlin.
You may have also understood I’ve been invited by Marc Cain, for their show during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2016 and now, I really want to share some postcard and backstage pic with you all.
The whole collection is a well balanced juxtaposition of tailored garments and super feminine dresses, that recalls sometimes the 70s, other the 40s.
The fabrics are smooth but well structured. There are all kinds of prints: floral, animalier, some feather applied and other beautiful designs which reminds me of those beautiful early 1900s fauve paintings.
There are mostly neutral tones, with some colorful detail: red, coral, bluette, deep green.
By the way, accessories have made each look of the collection unique. What I loved about this collection is that it never becomes too much (as you well know, this is pretty rare to see in fashion weeks ;) ). There are some old fashioned faux fur or patchworked stole, super long beautiful earrings made out of fabric, silk belts, ties, bows and super chic flowers applied on the neckband. Many models wore heavy sunglasses and they look like those amazing 1968’s students.
I enjoyed it a lot, mostly when I’ve had the chance to get my hair and make up done by professionals. Therefore I couldn’t resist to take some pictures on the snowy streets of Berlin, together with my friend Cinzia Mele and with my total look Marc Cain.
But now, I shall let the pictures speak for me. Waiting for your comments below :)
